Free Breakfast Clubs & wraparound childcare

Wraparound childcare is expanding to provide more places for both before and after school childcare. Since September 2024, more wraparound childcare places have become available for primary school aged children in England.

To ensure children are ready to learn at the start of the school day, the government has confirmed the first schools that will offer free breakfast clubs as part of a new scheme from April 2025. More details on the national rollout of free breakfast clubs will be available soon.

For working families, including the self-employed, in the UK with children aged 0-11 (or 0-16 if disabled).

HAF offers free school-holiday childcare, meals and activities. Mainly for FSM pupils (reception–Year 11), with places for others. Contact your local authority to sign up.
